Original Title: Testing bullet proof vest
Location: Washington, DC
I am so confident that my product will work, that I will shoot my partner in the chest.
The ultimate trust exercise. WH Murphy and his assistant, invented these bullet proof vests. In order to get the sale, they demonstrated these in front of the Frederick County Police Department. He used a S&W model 10 revolver, .38 round slugs. He fired 2 consecutive shots from 10ft away directly at his chest.
According to the spectators, he didn't even blink an eye.. probably because he was dead. No just kidding, he survived to tell the tale and make another sale.
The device was a nice 11 pounds, it was considered more comfortable than past models.
