Our puzzles are made from premium 0.2" thick paper stock and include a semi-gloss coating on the top surface to make the image pop. Puzzles are available in two different sizes, and each puzzle includes a puzzle box with the artwork printed on the top for safe storage when you're not puzzling. The puzzle pieces are unique shapes.

I am in a bit a quandary regarding this order. I have not received it. The UPS tracking shows it coming to Canada then going to California. I have not been able to contact UPS as they only seem to want to hear from US addresses. Fine Art America has not been of any assistance in getting me connected with my order. As a result of this experience, I do not plan on ordering anything more from this supplier. Too bad, there are a lot of nice things on their website. If this matter gets sorted out, I will update this review. Update: my order eventually arrived and I am quite happy with it.

I probably will NOT purchase from this site again. The quality of the puzzle was just okay, for example there were many pieces where the backing was delaminating. (See 2 photos) Additionally, the size was advertised as 20" x 28". The finished puzzle size was actually 19-5/8" x 26-1/8". I feel that skimping on the size resulted in the face of the bottom kitty being half obscured when framed. This is the most I've ever paid for a puzzle that I expected to be perfect. (I could only select 1 photo. Please email me if you want photos of puzzle pieces delaminating.)

I haven't done the puzzle yet but I was very pleased with the speed it was sent. The puzzle itself is brilliant I only wish I were able to find Linda Carruth's puzzles in England
First Ice. 24x24 acrylic on aluminum. My mother immigrated here as a 16 year old. At 19, she married my dad and he brought her along for beaver trapping in the late fall. They paddled to a distant shore and then took a trail to a more distant pond to check his traps early in the morning. When they finally returned to the canoe, ice had formed so they had to break their way in the thin, new ice to get to open water. My mother had never experienced anything like this in a canoe or anywhere for that matter. She became enamored with the ripples tearing up the clear morning ice, the crisp wilderness air, and then, the way the sun glistened so beautifully off those rippling shards of ice. She said it was one of her most memorable moments of those early days here, almost 60 years ago. Joe Baltich is a veteran wilderness artist born and raised in northeastern Minnesota.
