This is my friend Ann's garden, which I painted one summer day while visiting her. Ann is a painter as well, and we spent a lovely day working on our paintings together. An accomplished equestrian, Ann lives on a gorgeous horse farm out on Valmont Road near Boulder, Colorado. You can see the front range of the Rocky Mountains off in the distance.
