Description
Hibiscus is a genus of flowering plants in the mallow family, Malvaceae. It is quite large, containing several hundred species that are native to warm-temperate, subtropical and tropical regions throughout the world. Member species are often noted for their showy flowers and are commonly known simply as hibiscus, or less widely known as rose mallow. The red hibiscus flower is traditionally worn by Tahitian women. A single flower, tucked behind the ear, is used to indicate the wearer's availability for marriage. Thank you to the Perry family of Milford Ohio for allowing me access to their property to film their stunning flowers.

Well hello Emma thank you for your kind words. It is always nice to hear when someone admires your work. I also noticed your last name is Baker. My family name is Baker and Norma Jean (Marilyn Monroe) was my cousin. Could we be related by chance? In answer to your request o post some art work in your group, I would be honored to. :) Thank you Emma for asking. I look forward to being apart of the group.

Deborah, I'm a big fan of your work, and I'm wondering if you could help me out! I just started a group called Natures Beauty, and this is exactly the type of picture that I imagined to have in the group! It would mean a lot if you could possibly post the picture to the group! Thank you so much! http://pixels.com/groups/1-natures-beauty.html
