My father owns the same truck its the same color and everything and it originally sat in grandfather's garage with a gravel driveway until we pulled it out and rescued it and this photo reminds me of that day cause the garage even looks the same too. I will eventually hang it on my wall im remodeling my living room and ima hang it on my wall when it's done to pay respect to my father who bought me my first home and someday he's leaving this truck to me to carry on its legacy.

You feel the snow-muffled rumble under your boots as it approaches knowing that soon the roar of smoking, steaming hot metal will devolve the clear morning into complete whiteout conditions for the minutes that it passes. Shield your eyes and turn you head as the DM & IR train powers past on those tracks barely sticking out of the snow. It's quite the experience!

Then, life and business got in the way and Joe took a 32 year hiatus from painting only having returned back to the brush in 2014. He now paints commissioned works with a growing art business as well as many pieces for his Inspire Wild Art Exhibit at Northwind Lodge which features the famous Painted Canoe of Ely. Joe presently serves as the head artist for the non-profit educational organization, Into The Brush...
